The freshness of ingredients harvested from the sea and the farms provides a fulfilling taste that is distinctly Davao. The city is known for its inihaw (grilled tuna) and kinilaw (local version of sashimi using tuna or blue marlin strips). There is a variety of dining destinations to whet your appetite and suit your mood. There are restaurants offering a panoramic view of the Davao gulf. Others prefer a wider perspective of the city by dining in an array of restaurants located on top of hills. Delectable Ala Carte and smorgasbord at affordable prices can also
be found in popular restaurants, hotels, and cafes all over the
metropolis. Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and other
cuisines are included in the menu of specialty restaurants.

Nightlife Alive
Located beside Davao Central Bank, The Venue features a
very spacious entertainment place, and is one of Davao's most promising
party places, changing the ways Dabawenyos party and have fun! People,
especially teens and some not-yet-grown ups, usually enjoy live
concerts, band performances and others. Outside the place is a compound
of cafés, bars, restaurants and other places to hang out.
Also infront is the Cogot's Seafood Restaurant, a fave place to
spend time with friends and dine in...
Any wraps will do! Do your own fashion... Set no limits on yourself! Hahahahaha....

Durian Overload
This is my favorite place to have after dinner coffee in
Davao. My Davaoeno friends tell me that there are a lot of other
cafes we can try but I always prefer the hot durian flavored coffee
here. They also serve good durian cheesecake and banana cream pie.
Casual. Denims and shirts are okay.

Davao at Night
This night is located on a high point overlooking the city of Davao.
It features : 1. Restaurant Bar & Grill (they serve good seafood
sizzler and pork barbecue) 2. Carlo's Coffee Station 3. Swimming
Pool (the kids seem to enjoy the pool) 4. Function Halls (The waiter
told me you can have free use of the function room over the bar
if your bill is more than P6,000 (US$113++) 5. Amphitheater (They've
concreted the edges of the concentric circles that comprise the
ampi, so it's turned artificial and tacky!) 6. Piano Bar 7. Souvenir
Shop 8. Cottages There is also a group of musicians who serenade
while you are eating. They seem to expect some tip after they sing
for you.
Casual. Even shorts and shirts, sandals are okay

Live Music, Dancing, Drinks, Good Times
Venue is a top spot for nightlife in Davao... a great place
to let your hair down after a hard week at work, or just to meet
casually with friends for a laugh, amidst food/music/drinks... the
'outdoor' Venue has a stage set up for live bands to perform (some
coming all the way from Manila), and there is a variety of restaurants/pubs
to order from... tables are aplenty where you could sit, chat, eat
and drink al fresco at night... The 'indoor' Venue has a cover charge
and features a live band or two for the night, to whom you could
request pop songs or even jam with them if you're confident enough
with your singing talents... you are also encouraged to dance to
the live music and just let yourself go and have fun!
Smart casual, but really anything goes, except no singlets/thongs...
